Bloomfield, died May 5, 2004. Prior
to retirement, he was the former
owner and operator of American Para
Professional Systems.
Mr. Sobel is survived by his wife,
Janice Sobel; sons and daughters-in-law,
Jeffrey and Marsha Sobel of White
Lake, Barry and Eileen Sobel of West
Bloomfield; daughter and son-in-law,
Julie and Ken Rochon of Waterford;
grandchildren, Aaron Sobel, Giordana
Sobel and Rachel Rochon; mother-in-
law, Ruth Natinsky.
Interment at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be
made to the National Council of
Jewish Women or the Detroit
Institute of Arts. Arrangements by Ira
Kaufman Chapel.

GLORIA WEINDLING SWIBEL, for-
merly of Detroit and Chicago, died May
2, 2004. She moved to Chicago in
1945, when she married Morris Swibel.
For the past 14 years, she has been a per-
manent resident of Delray Beach, Fla.
Mrs. Swibel is survived by her son
and daughter-in-law, Steven and
,Leslie; daughter and son-in-law, Dr.
Pamela Plant and Jeffery of Salt Lake
City, Utah; granddaughters, Debbie,
and Dr. Laura and Michael Rosenfeld;
sisters, Ann Gaynes of Camarillo,
Calif, Dorothy Haber and Jane
Shayne. She was the loving wife of the
late Morris Swibel.
Internment in Chicago.
Contributions may be made to a char-
ity of one's choice.

RUTH GRUBER WHITE of Boca
Raton, Fla., died May 10, 2004.
She is survived by her beloved part-
ner, Jay Thalheim; children, Nancy
(Larry) Roth, Jeff White, Helene
(Charles Levin) White of Detroit;
grandchildren, Scott, David, Jaime
Roth, Benjamin and Frankie White
Levin; sister, Florence Kaplan. She was
the loving wife of the late Frank.
