Q:

What is one of the biggest changes
you have seen during your career as a
funeral director?

A: When I came to work with my father,

of blessed memory, it was rare for someone
to die at home. Even if a death took place
there, an individual would often be taken to
a hospital to be pronounced dead. With
Hospice playing a leading role in end of life
today, more than 50 percent of deaths take
place at home among the family.
