ISAAK LUNDIN, 85, of Southfield,
died April 28, 2004.
He is survived by his sons and
daughter-in-law, Roman and Irina
Lundin of West Bloomfield, Usher
Lundin; grandchildren, Brian Daniel
Lundin, Samuel Joshua Lundin,
Michael Saul Lundin, Justin
Benjamin Lundin. He was the
beloved husband of the late Khana
Lundin.
Contributions may be made to a
charity of one's choice. Interment at
Workmen's Circle, Independent
Lodge. Arrangements by Hebrew
Memorial Chapel.

JOANNE MANDEL, 69, of
Farmington Hills, died April 27,
2004. A teacher, she
taught English at
Romeo College and
was also an art thera-
pist at Far
Conservatory. Mrs.
Mandel was a mentor
for many as the
Mandel
owner/director of
Camp Niobe, a camp
for learning disabled and emotional-
ly impaired young adults). With two
master's degrees, she was active with
Jewish Parenting Institute,
Association of Art Therapists,
Michigan Camping Association,
Scleroderma Association. Mrs.
Mandel was also a past president of
Women's International League for
Peace and Freedom (WILPF).
She is survived by her husband,
Earl Mandel; daughter, Sara Mandel
of Oak Park; son, Jon Mandel of
Royal Oak; brother and sister-in-law,
Carl and Beth Riseman of Grand
Blanc.
Interment at Beth El Memorial
Park Cemetery. Contributions may
be made to Scleroderma Foundation,

CLAIRE T. MOSELLE, 88, of
Poughkeepsie, N.Y., died May 1,
2004. She received a bachelor's
degree in music from Hunter
College and initial training for
teaching at Columbia University.
She finished at New Paltz Teachers
College. Mrs. Moselle was a former
teacher of music and language in the
Poughkeepsie City School District.
Prior to that, she privately taught
piano in a class setting.
Mrs. Moselle was a member of
Vassar Temple in Poughkeepsie, a life
member of the Girl Scouts and a
troop leader, a past president of the
Poughkeepsie Chapter of Hadassah
and an active member for 20 years
of the Vassar Temple Sisterhood.
Mrs. Moselle is survived by her
daughter and son-in-law, Margery
and Fred Mann of Huntington
Woods; son and daughter-in-law, Dr.
Jonathan A. and Andrea Z. Moselle
of Philadelphia; brother, Dr.
Laurence Troeger of Syracuse, N.Y.;
sister and brother-in-law, Betty and
Sydney Spungen of Potomac, Md.;
grandchildren, Eric M. and Joel R.
Mann, Elizabeth H. Aaron, Lily D.
Moselle; sister-in-law, Lillian
Merkado of Tarrytown, N.Y.; broth-
er-in-law and sister-in-law, Samuel
and Beatrice Morrison of Port St.
Lucie, Fla.; stepbrothers and stepsis-
ters-in-law, Lawrence and Doris
Sperling of Ann Arbor, Stuart and
Irene Sperling of Morganville, N.J.
Services were at Vassar Temple.
Interment at Vassar Temple

ARLENE G. RHODES, 98, of
Southfield, died May 2, 2004. She
was a teacher in the
Detroit Public School
system for many
years and was very
active with Hadassah.
Mrs. Rhodes is sur-
vived by many loving
nieces, nephews,
grandnieces and
Rhodes
grandnephews. She
was the beloved wife
of the late Samuel J. Rhodes.
Interment at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be
