avid and Linda Schwartz of
Newton Square, Pa., and Dr.
Michael and Arna Goldstein
of West Bloomfield are thrilled to
announce the engagement of their
children Robin Schwartz and
Jonathan Goldstein.
Robin is a graduate of Syracuse
University's Newhouse School of
Communications with a degree in
broadcast journalism. She is a reporter
at Fox 2 News in Detroit.
Jonathan received a bachelor's
degree in English from the University
of Michigan. He is the director of the
Young Adult Division of the Jewish
Federation of Metropolitan Detroit.
The couple met at a Federation event.

An October wedding is planned in
Philadelphia.

Jan. 14
Randall and Lara Kaplan of Los Angeles
proudly announce the birth of their son,
Charles Joseph. Welcoming him into
this world are his twin sisters Manna
and Bianca and grandparents Linda and
Henry Ross of Franklin, David and
Barbara Kaplan of Orlando, Fla., and
Marian Greenberg of Connecticut.
Great-grandparents also celebrating
Charles's arrival are Judy Eder of
Southfield and Edith Greenberg of Los
Angeles. Charles is named for his late
maternal and paternal grandfathers
Charles Zlotkin, Joseph Greenberg and
Jack Joseph Eder. Charles is also the
great-grandson of the late Elsie and
Seymour Kaplan and the late Lena
Zlotkin and the late Anthony Greenberg.

An April wedding is planned in
Manhattan.

Amy is a graduate of New York
University with a bachelor of arts in
broadcast journalism. She is a publici-
ty coordinator at Comedy Central TV
in Manhattan.
Jeffrey graduated from American
University in Washington, D.C., with
a bachelor of arts degree in journal-
ism. He is a producer for the "Greta
Van Susteren Show" for the Fox News
TV network in Manhattan.

Bloomfield and Susan and Gary
Wolf of Bayside, N.Y., are
delighted to announce the engagement
of their children Matthew Weiss and
Tara Wolf
Matthew received his bachelor of arts
degree in economics from the University
of Michigan and recently became a
chartered financial analyst. He is
employed at Governance Metrics
International in New York.
Tara graduated from the University of
Michigan with a bachelor of arts degree
in political science, She is a graduate of
the New York School of Law and is
working as an attorney with Marshall,
Conway and Wright PC in New York.

Gabriel (Nadiv Gavriel). Sharing in

a bankruptcy lawyer with the Office

Sam completed his medical training
at McGill University in Montreal. Her
is a board certified family physician at
the University of Illinois at Chicago.
