Teens Will 'Wrestle With God
All Jewish high school students are
invited to B'nai B'rith Youth
Organization's Jewish Heritage
Night, 6:45-8:30 p.m. Sunday,
Dec. 7, at Adat Shalom
Synagogue.
The program theme is
"Wrestling with G-D" and the fea-
tured presenter is Rabbi Baruch
Lazewnik of the Jewish Academy
of Metropolitan Detroit.
The program will discuss the
individual's struggle with belief in
a supreme being. After an opening
presentation, break-out groups
will be led by BBYO leaders.
Refreshments and socializing
will follow. There is no charge for
the program.
BBYO Jewish Heritage Nights
are held three times a year on top-
ics of interest to Jewish youth.
The programs are underwritten by
Noah Wofsy, an AZA alumnus of
Strauss BBYO in Mt. Clemens
who now lives in Washington,
D.C.
