Bar/Bat Mitzvah

enjoys his volunteer work with senior
citizens and Hands On Detroit. A por-
tion of his gifts will be donated to Israeli
charities.

Michael Kopinsky will be called to the
Torah on Saturday, Sept. 6, at
Congregation Beth Ahm. He is the son
of Debbie Kopinsky and Joel Kopinsky
and big brother of Hannah. Sharing in
the simchah will be
his proud grand-
mother Aida
Greenspan. He is
also the grandson of
the late Noah
Greenspan and the
late Samuel and
Maisie Kopinsky.
Michael is an
honor student at
Detroit Country Day School in Beverly
Hills. He found doing volunteer work
at Yad Ezra in Berkley very meaningful.

Ari Kotzen-Reich will be called to the
Torah as a bar mitzvah on Saturday,
Sept. 6, at Temple Beth El. His parents
are Judy Kotzen and David Reich. He is
the grandson of
Bernard Reich, the
late Sylvia Reich, the
late Pearl Kotzen
and the late Harold
Kotzen.
Ari is an eighth-
grade honor student
at Norup Middle
School in Ok Park.
For his mitzvah
project, Ari worked with pre-schoolers
at the Temple Beth El summer camp.

David Jacob Kozlowski will be called to
the Torah as a bar mitzvah on Saturday,
Sept. 6, at Congregation Shaarey Zedek
West Bloomfield, B'nai Israel Center.
He is the son of Jay Kozlowski and the
late Linda Hoffman Kozlowski and
adored brother of
Rachel and Anna.
Proud grandparents
are Evelyn Hoffman
Kasle and Edith and
Marvin Kozlowski.
He is also the grand-
son of the late
Walter Hoffman
and the great-grand-
son of the late
Helen Kanat.
David is an eighth-grader at West
