Laurie Frankel has been nominated
president of the Hebrew Free Loan
Association. The election and installa-
tion of Frankel and other HFLA officers
will take place at the HFLA annual
meeting 11 a.m. Sunday, June 29, at
Beverly and Arthur Y. Liss's home in
Bloomfield Hills.
Frankel has served on the HFLA
board for 13 years, most recently as vice
president of the executive committee.
Arthur Y. Liss, president of HFLA for
the past two years, will remain on the
executive committee as immediate past
president.
Also nominated to the HFLA execu-
tive committee are David Wallace,
Richard Broder and Scott Leemaster,
vice presidents; Michael Banks, treasur-
er; Peggy Daitch, secretary.
Nominated to a one-year term in the
HFLA board are Sam Bernstein, Stan
Bershad, Dr. Mark Diem, Jerry Ellis,
Rabbi Bunny Freedman, Harold

Food Program
For Children
Yeshivas Darchei Torah will sponsor the
Summer Food Service program for chil-
dren.
Free meals will be made available to
children 18 years of age and under or
persons up to age 26 who are enrolled in
an educational program for mentally or
physically disabled that is recognized by
a state or local public educational
agency. The meals will be provided with-
out regard to race, color, national origin,
age, sex or disability.
Meals will be provided at Yeshivas
Darchei Torah, 21550 W. 12 Mile,
Southfield from Monday, June 30-
Friday, July 25. Lunch will be from
11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.; snacks from 3:30-
4:30 p.m.
