EverWood® X-tra

Bobbie and Gary Miller Laith and Karen Hermiz

They look like shutters. Work like
blinds. To look at them you'd swear
they're real wood shutters. Buy you.
can open and close the slats, or raise
and lower them, just like a blind.
Best of all, they're EverWood®,
an alternative wood blind with the
character and warmth of real wood.
Which means they won't crack, peel,
warp or fade. Even in humid areas
like the kitchen or bathroom.

Bloomfield on March 27. Panos has generated a star-studded following (including
Oprah Winfrey and Nicole Kidman) as well as many local women who all admire
her classic-yet-updated designs. The elegant New York-based jeweler is known for her
detailed jeweled collections of stackable rings and bangles.
Among the shoppers at Tappers were Karen Hermiz and husband Laith and Andy
Migdal, with her husband Steve, who surprised his wife with a Panos bangle last
spring. Howard Tapper called the jewelry "fashionable and always unique - the lead-
ing edge."
Steven Tapper added, "She creates a b1177 — a level of excitement about her work
and herself— she has star quality. People are excited to be part of an environment
that's happening — especially these days, people need something happy to think
about." When Panos first visited the metro Detroit area, she was surprised that
"Midwestern women weren't more conservative. These ladies are stylish and savvy,
. well-traveled and sophisticated." We knew that.
