5, at Temple Emanu-
El. Sharing his joy will
be his parents, Randie
and Marc, his sisters
Sarah and Elizabeth
and his grandparents Florence and
Martin Kruman, Marjorie and Leon
Schafer.
Benjamin is a seventh-grade honor
student at Norup Middle School in
Oak Park, where he plays percussion in
the band and is a member of the basket-
ball and track teams. He plays on the
Force 90 soccer team, enjoys movies,
comedy, summers at Tamarack Camps
and spending time with friends. For his
mitzvah project, Benjamin worked at
Temple Emanu-El's nursery school day
camp, Camptown Express.
Gina Radner Linden

brated her bat mitz-
vah Friday, March 14,
at the Birmingham
Temple. Participating
in the ceremony were
her parents, Cathy
Radner and Russell
Linden, sister Annie, grandparents Lou
and Janice Linden and other family
members and friends.
Gina is a seventh-grade honor student
at Derby Middle School in
Birmingham. She enjoys playing tennis,
swimming, music, art and being with
her friends. She volunteers as a teacher's
aide at the Birmingham Temple.
Meryl liana Lopatin
will read from the
Torah on the occasion
of her bat mitzvah
Saturday, April 5, at
Temple Israel. Her
parents are Nina and
Jeffrey Lopatin and
her sister is Jenna. Her
proud grandparents are Rena and Irving
Sherman and Elaine and Reuben
Lopatin.
Meryl attends Walnut Creek Middle
School in Walled Lake. Her interests are
ice skating, babysitting, dancing, listen-
ing to music and helping in the com-
munity. Participating in the connection
to children in Israel made by the
American Red Magen David for Israel,
Operation Bear and Blanket, was her
most meaningful mitzvah project.
