"These guys" — the seven grand-
children — were all born within the
past 2'/2 years. Doing things in grand
gestures is no novelty for the Zorns.
Back in 1997, daughters Susie, Lainie
and Debi all got married in the same
year.
"I thought we could never top the
weddings, but we have," Lila says
watching her grandchildrens' tumult.
"The bar mitzvahs are going to be
interesting," muses Lila's husband,
Steve, owner of and consultant to a
Schooley-Mitchell Telecommunication
franchise .
"Oh my God, you're right," replies
Lila.

Or was that Craig Bauer changing
2-year-old Aidan's diaper while mom
Lainie Zorn Bauer chases down
Aidan's twin, Mac, as Grandma Zorn
swoops in to cuddle their new baby
sister, 9-month-old Arielle. The family
lives in Bloomfield Hills. Craig is the
owner of JAG Trading, a stock trading
firm. Lainie, a retired headhunter, has
her hands full with motherhood.
Then again, maybe the diaper
changing was done by Stuart Zorn,
husband to Julie. These Zorns live in
West Bloomfield. Julie is a part-time
social worker for Farmington Public
Schools and Stuart works with broth-
er-in-law Craig at JAG. Son Sean just
turned 1.
