died Feb 6, 2003. He was a real estate
developer and investor. He was also a
World War II veteran.
Mr. Katanick is survived by his wife
of 63 years, Mamie; son and daughter-
in-law, Dr. Sheldon and Jaye Katanick
of Ocala, Fla.; daughter and son-in-
law, Rhody and Terry Kelman of
Paradise Valley, Ariz.; grandchildren,
Chuck, Rachel, Ari, Greg, Rob,
Rebecca and Willie; great-grandchil-
dren, Devyn, Grant, Emma and
Dylan; brother and sister-in-law,
Norman and Glorine Katanick; sister,
Edith Farkas. He was the loving broth-
er of the late William and Martin
Katanick, the late Gertie Hoberman
and the late Betty Kelman.
Services were held at the Star of
David Memorial Park in North
Lauderdale, Fla. Contributions may be
made to a charity of one's choice. This
announcement was placed at the fami-
ly's request by Hebrew memorial
chapel.
