In his early days, he was heard week-
ly on radio broadcasts of the "Green
Hornet", the "Lone Ranger," and
"Challenge of the Yukon," all of which
originated in Detroit. He created and
developed many radio and television
shows. In New York City, he was
involved in directing TV commercials
and business films. He also worked on
many projects developed with his wife
for clients at her advertising agency,
Kay Korwin Inc. In 1950, he was a
director at CBS.
Mr. Kasander is survived by his wife,
Kay Korwin-Kasander; daughters,
Toni Kasander (Kermit Prill) of
Farmington Hills, Bonnie Kasander
(Stephen O'Rourke) of Silver Spring,
Md.; grandchildren, Colin, Jocelyn
and Cameron. He was the brother of
the late Louis, the late Oscar, the late
Ted, the late Eleanor Schwartz and the
late Violet Salamon.
A memorial service will be held in
Michigan.

She is survived by her beloved hus-

DR. JEROME KRAUSE, 78, of
Farmington Hills, died Oct. 24, 2002.
He was a dentist, a member of
Congregation Shaarey Zedek, member
of Knollwood Country Club and a
member of the Michigan, Oakland
and American dental societies. He also
taught at Sinai Hospital and was a
World War II Army veteran, who had
been stationed in France and
Germany.
Dr. Krause is survived by his wife,
Reva Krause; daughters and sons-in-
law, Judy and Scott St. Clair of
Colorado, Patti Krause of Farmington
Hills, Missy and Richard Small of
Bloomfield Hills; grandchildren,
Gregory St. Clair, Kevin St. Clair,
Randi Small, Robbie Small; sisters-in-
law and brother-in-law, Suzanne
Tabashnik, Dr. Phillip Hertz, Arlene
Hertz, Bernice Hertz. He was the lov-
ing brother of the late Sheldon Krause;
dear brother-in-law of the late Dr.
Sidney Hertz, the late Benjamin Hertz
and the late Shirley Hertz.
Interment at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be
made to Hospice of Michigan or the
Karmanos Cancer Institute.

FANNIE MAY, 90, of West

Bloomfield, died Oct. 22, 2002.
She is survived by her son and

Phyllis May of Huntington, N.Y.;
