Hannah Leah Cohen will be called to
the Torah as a bat
mitzvah on
Saturday, Oct. 19,
at Congregation
B'nai Moshe. She is
the daughter of
Don and Keri
Cohen and sister of
Emma. Proud
grandparents are
Miriam Guten of
Dallas and Jacqueline Rogers of Las
Vegas. Hannah also is the granddaugh-
ter of the late Don Guten and the late
Jerry Rogers.
Hannah is an honor student at
Warner Middle School in West
Bloomfield. She plays violin in the
school orchestra and also studies piano.
Her most rewarding mitzvah projects
were going with her mother for visits
to a Jewish patient in Hospice Home
of Michigan in Farmington Hills and
working with her father on Israel advo-
cacy projects, including the Jerusalem
Shopping Expo and a vigil for Israeli
victims of terror. She also participated
in several social action projects at B'nai
Moshe.
