MARILYN GORDON HASNAS,
73, of West Bloomfield, died Oct. 3,
2002. She was a teacher and member
of the Jewish Federation of
Metropolitan Detroit.
Mrs. Hasnas is survived-by her
husband, Eugene Hasnas; daughter
and son-in-law, Deborah and Robert
Castelein of Petoskey; son and
daughter-in-law, Brian and Paula
Gordon; grandchildren, Jeffrey Tratt,
Scott Castelein and Taylor Gordon;
sister and brother-in-law, Eileen and
Gerald-Granadier of Bloomfield
Hills; brother and sister-in-law,
Ronald and Joan Klafer. She was the
wonderful daughter of the late Jean
and the late William Klafer.

Farmington Hills, died Oct. 2, 2002.
He is survived by his daughters

beloved husband of the late Esther

MORTON JACOBS, 86, of West

Bloomfield, died Oct. 3, 2002. He
was an attorney, who was a 1940
graduate of the University of
Michigan Law School, a member of
Kappa Nu fraternity, worked as a sys-
tems analyst for the Department of
Defense and was an avid bridge play-
er.
Mr. Jacobs is survived by his wife,
Gilberta Jacobs; sons and daughters-
in-law, John and Gilda Jacobs of
Huntington Woods, Charles and
Hope Jacobs of Massachusetts;

died Oct. 6, 2002. She was a dental
assistant.
Ms. Johnson is survived by her

SAMUEL KAMEN, 48 of Windsor,
died Sept. 26, 2002. He was a
member of Shaar Hashomayim
Synagogue, president of finance and
CFO at TKA Fabco and a member
of the Institute of Chartered
Accountants of Ontario and
Canada.
Mr. Kamen is survived by his lov-
ing wife, Karen; children, Rachel,
Richard and Sarah; mother, Sylvia
Kamen; brother, Stephen; father-in-
law, Sol. He was the son of the late
_Albert Kamen; brother of the late
Richard Arthur.
Services were held at Rachel
Kaplan Hebrew Memorial Chapel
in Windsor. Contributions may be
made to a children's charity or to
Hillel Day School.

DR. CALVIN CHARLES KAY, 61,

of Farmington Hills, died Oct. 4,
2002.
He is survived by his wife,
Maureen Kay; mother, Bessie Kay;
daughter and son-in-law, Alisa and
James King of Wake Forest, N.C.;
son and daughter-in-law, Scott and
Laura Kay of West Bloomfield;
