Wendy Lynn to Adam David Kaye,
son of Avril and Michael Kaye, origi-
nally of Durban, South Africa, of Rye
Brook, N.Y.
Wendy received her bachelor of sci-
ence degree in marketing from the
University of Colorado and her master
of business administration from Wayne
State University She is employed as a
human resources manager for the U.S.
headquarters of the Swatch Group.
Adam earned his bachelor of arts
degree in history from the University
of Rochester and his degree in culinary
arts from the French Culinary Institute
in Manhattan. He is employed as the
sous chef at Blue Hill, a restaurant in
New York City

daughter Naomi Yael to Dr.
Jonathan Arthur Shanker, son of Dr.
Gary Shanker of St. Louis, Mo., and the
late Ann Shanker.
Naomi is a graduate of Barnard
College and is the business development
coordinator at Wenner Media in New
York City. Jonathan received his bache-
lor of arts degree from Boston
University and his doctor of dental sci-
ence degree from the University of
Missouri, Kansas City. He is completing
a residency in orthodontia at the
University of Medicine and Dentistry of
New Jersey.
An October wedding is planned at
Congregation Shaarey Zedek. The cou-
ple plan to reside in St. Louis.

subject is math. His
interests also include
art, science, sports,
computers and play-
ing board games. He loves to spend time
with family and friends. This past year,
Josh visited with seniors at Menorah
House in Southfield and the Jewish
Federation Apartments and he partici-
pated in a project at JARC homes.
