DR. MILTON W. WHITE, 90, of
Bloomfield Hills, died Aug. 30, 2002.
He was a surgeon and general practice
physician who graduated from Wayne
State University School of Medicine in
1938. He was also very involved in
cancer research, a visiting professor at
Wayne State University for medical
research, was the author of Power of
Self Knowledge and had numerous
research articles published world wide.
Dr. White was a nationally ranked
squash player and one of the
founders of North Detroit General
Hospital, where he served as chair-
man of the board of trustees from
1981-1982. He was a fellow of the
American Society of Abdominal
Surgeons as well as a member of the
Wayne County Medical Society,
Michigan Medical Society and the
American. Medical Society.
He is survived by his wife, Rita
White; son, Dr. Kenneth Goldman
of West Bloomfield; daughter and
son-in-law, Lori and Bruce
Abramson of Commerce Township;
grandchildren, Andrew and Melanie
Goldman, Tia Abramson; sister,
Adeline Daien of Oak Park and sis-
ter-in-law, Shirley White. He was _
the beloved husband of the late
Ruth Cantor White and the dear
brother of the late Ervin White and
the late Lawrence White.

Interment at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be
directed to Temple Israel.

DONALD S. ZARON, 68, former
Detroiter of Las Vegas. He was a scrap
dealer and an Air Force veteran.
Mr. Zaron is survived by his wife,
Rita; son, Allen Zaron of Hawaii;
daughters, Helene Zaron and Jackie
Franchino of Las Vegas; brother,
Corky Zaron of Michigan; sisters,
Sue and Lisa of Michigan and
Arleen Sampson of Las Vegas; two
grandchildren.
HAROLD ZUKER, 83 of Oak
Park, died Aug. 31, 2002. He was a
bridal and children's clothing cutter.
In 1983, he was president of the
B'nai B'rith of Metro-
politan Detroit. He was
often invited to speak
to groups as a
Holocaust survivor.
Mr. Zuker is survived
by his wife, Lucy
Zuker; daughter and
son-in-law, Michelle
and Robert Borin of Manton,
Mich.; grandchildren, Evan an
Ashley Bonin.
Interment at Beth Abraham
Cemetery. Contributions may be
made to the Holocaust Memorial
