joint AZA-BBG International
Conventions held at the B'nai B'rith
Perlman Camp in Starlight, Pa.
Adam Horowitz, past aleph godol
(president) of Michigan Region AZA,
was elected grand aleph moreh (mem-
bership vice president) for 2002-2003.
He is entering his senior year at the
Jewish Academy of Metropolitan
Detroit.
In addition to his international posi-
tion, Horowitz will also serve as
Michigan Region AZA aleph moreh
and kohen godol (counselor).
He is a past aleph godol of Evan
Shapiro AZA and also served as an
international AZA chairman. He is a
past participant in B'nai B'rith Youth
Organization's chapter leadership
training conference, Kallah, and inter-
national leadership training conference
programs.
Amy Rothberger, past Michigan
Region BBG sganit (vice president),
has been elected international s'ganit
(programming vice president) for the
2002-2003 program year. She is enter-
ing her senior year at North
Farmington High School.
Rothberger is a past s'ganit of
Ahavah BBG and was Jewish heritage
chair of the BBG Council. She is a
past participant in BBYO's CLTC,
Kallah, ILTC and Kallah Aleph pro-
grams.
