named Rabbi Yitzchak Krolikowski as
the new director of development for
Ohr Somayach Detroit.
Rabbi Krolikowski recently moved
to Detroit from Jerusalem with his
wife and three chil-
dren to join the
.local branch of Ohr
Somayach. He
spent the last six
years in Jerusalem,
where he graduated
from the Ohr
LaGolah Leadership
Institute at Ohr
Somayach
Rabbi Yitzchak
International.
Krolikowski
The Ohr
LaGolah program
trains its graduates
in education and fund-raising, as well
as the disciplines of teaching, counsel-
ing, rabbinical duties and Jewish out-
reach.
Rabbi Krolikowski will introduce
Rabbi Dovid Orlofsky, speaking on
"Prayer We Can Relate To," at an Ohr
Somayach lunch-and-learn program

lunch-and-learn with Rabbi Dovid
Orlofsky 12:30-1:30 p.m. Wednesday,
July 31, at the Max M. Fisher
Federation Building, Bloomfield
Township. The topic will be "Prayer
We Can Relate To."
Rabbi Orlofsky is a New York
native who received rabbinical ordina-
tion from Dayan Kupshitz in Israel in
1990.
He was director of the Long Island
branch of the National Conference of
Synagogue Youth from 1979-1988.
The rabbi is a senior lecturer in
Jewish thought, Talmud and
Chumash in Ohr Somayach's intro-
ductory program as well as a senior
instructor in the Ohr LaGolah
Leadership Institute of Ohr Somayach
International.
