ROSE SCHULTZ, 95, of Los
Angeles, died July 16, 2002.
She is survived by her daughter-in-
law, Rhoda Sheskin; grandchildren,
Richard Morgan, Scher Longoria,
Lori Lubetkin, Steven Schultz, Scott
Schultz, Mark Rubin, Edward Rubin;
12 great-grandchildren. She was the
beloved wife of the late Samuel
Schultz; dear mother of the late
Mickey Morgan and the late Jay
Schultz.

CEIL SHUBIN, 91, of Southfield,
died July 15, 2002. She immigrated
to America from her home in
Bialostok, Poland, at the age of nine.
She learned English, graduated from
high school in 1927 and worked to
help support her family until 1935
when she married.
Mrs. Shubin is survived by her
husband or 40 years, Marty Shubin;
daughter, Marilyn; son, Marty;
devoted son-in-law Don and daugh-
ter-in-law Renata; grandchildren,
Sheryl and Ari; loving brother, Sam
Goldsmith; loving sister, Arlene.

LOUIS SOKOLOFF, 88, of West
Bloomfield, died July 22, 2002.
He was an auto dealer and owner of
Victory Motor Sales on Gratiot. He
ran one of the first car leasing compa-
nies in the U.S., Allstate leasing, which
was the first dealership to advertise on
TV on the Soupy Sales show.
Mr. Sokoloff was given an honor-
able discharge from the Army to
return to convert his dealership into
a manufacturing facility for airplane
parts for the U.S. government. He
also held several patents.
