SYLVIA KESSLER, 85, of Ypsilanti,
died July 7, 2002. Prior to retirement, -
she was a head nurse at Harper
Hospital. She was also a 1941 gradu-
ate of Michael Reese, a member of
Hadassah, Women's American ORT
and a member of the Interfaith
Hospitality Network.
Mrs. Kessler is survived by her hus-
band, Dr. Harold Kessler; daughters
and sons-in-law, Barbara Kessler and
Richard Soble, Susan Kessler and
Jonathan Kessler of Ann Arbor,
Bonnie and William Castleberry of
Stockbridge; son, Sam Kessler of
Texas; grandchildren, Anna Rose
Kessler Moore, Rachel Kessler Rowe,
Kyla Kessler Rowe; sister and brother-
in-law, Helen and Bernard Morof of
Southfield. She was the dear sister of
the late Frank Richardson.
Interment at Arborcrest Cemetery.
