EDWARD ROBINSON, 87, of
Harrison Township, died June 24,
2002. He was a quality control engi-
neer with Chrysler. He was also an
aviation metalsmith third class Navy
veteran and the recipient of the
Asiatic Pacific Ribbon and the
Victory Medal. In addition, Mr.
Robinson was a member of the
Masons, the VFW, Harvey
Levenberg Lodge of B'nai B'rith and
of Congregation Beth Tephilath
Moses. He was in the Coast Guard
Auxiliary.
Mr. Robinson is survived by his
wife, Mary Robinson; sons and
daughters-in-law, Jack Robinson of
Harrison Township, Robert and
Maureen Robinson of Macomb,
David and Elaine Robinson of
Chesterfield; daughter and son-in-
law, Lois and Albert Haddad of
Clinton Township; grandchildren,
Kenneth Robinson, Stephen
Robinson and his fiancee, Kim,
Sarah Robinson, James and Kim
Brune, Dan and Teri Brune, Andrew
Robinson, Hannah Robinson, Barry
Robinson, Amber Robinson and
great-grandchildren, Brian Verbecke,
Christopher Brune, Brandon Brune
and Kyle Brune.

TUNYA SAMETS; 89, of Oak Park,
died June 26, 2002.
She is survived by her daughters
and sons-in-law, Regina and Anatoly
Smolitsky of Southfield, Tamara and
Edward Tismenetsky of Farmington
Hills; grandchildren, Vladimir and
Helen Tismenetsky, Michael
Tismenetsky, Edward Smolitsky and
Fiancee Yana Itkin. She was the
beloved wife of the late Izrail

DONNA LEBOWITZ SHAPIRO,
57, of Birmingham, died June 29,
2002. She received her master's
degree in counseling from the
University of Michigan and was
social worker at Children's Protective
Services.
Mrs. Shapiro is survived by her
son, Morris "M.G." Shapiro; daugh-
ter, Sara Shapiro; mother, Lillian
Lebowitz; husband, Jack Shapiro.
She was the beloved daughter of the
late Aaron Lebowitz.
Interment at Oakview Cemetery.
