Rebecca Naomi Goldberg will be
called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah
on Saturday, June
15, at
Congregation Beth
Shalom. She is the
daughter of Pam
Goldberg Danzig
and Sanford
Danzig and sister
of Alissa Danzig.
Loving grandpar-
ents are Narky
Barr, Seymour and Annette Goldberg,
Harry Danzig, Michael and Sheila
Levine. She is also the granddaughter
of the late Ida Barr and the late Anne
Danzig.
Completing seventh grade at Hillel
Day School of Metropolitan Detroit
in Farmington Hills, Rebecca partici-
pated on basketball, soccer and cheer-
leading teams. Extracurricular activi-
ties -include babysitting-child care,
horseback riding, swimming, volley-
ball and arts and crafts. Her member-
ships include Kadima, Young Judea
and the synagogue's bat mitzvah club.
Rebecca has volunteered for many
years, providing misholach manot to
seniors, and volunteering for the
Friendship Circle, at Farmington
Hills-based JARC, with the Michigan
Friends of Israel Defense Forces, and
at Yad Ezra in Berkley, the South
Oakland Shelter, Hadassah and
Congregation Beth Shalom.

Natalie Rose Kahn of Huntington
Woods will be called to the Torah as a
bar mitzvah on Saturday, June 15, at
Temple Emanu-El. She is the daugh-
ter of Yona and
Robert Kahn and
younger sister of
Sarah. Natalie's
