Erickson's New Community Breaks Ground Amidst Much Fanfare

Now, MICHIGAN — More than 400
people attended the official
Groundbreaking Ceremony for
Fox Run Village, Erickson
Retirement Communities' new,
100-acre community being devel-
oped in Oakland County.
On hand to celebrate the spe-
cial occasion were the future resi-
dents of Fox Run Village who
wisely joined the risk-free Priority
List to secure their spot to move
to this popular new community.
They received warm congratu-
lations from such dignitaries as
Novi City Manager Rick Helvvig
and John Erickson, CEO and
Chairman of Erickson Retirement
Communities. In addressing the
crowd, Mr. Erickson restated his
company's mission to "provide
the highest quality retirement
to the greatest number of peo-
ple and to make this wonderful
lifestyle affordable."
Guests gathered round as cer-
emonial shovels pierced the
ground for a special tree planting
on the future site of Fox Run
Village. They were treated to a
sumptuous buffet luncheon and
musical entertainment.
Also participating in the day's
festivities was Meadowbrook
Elementary's 5th grade class, who
sang a short medley to commemo-

ment community in the state.
More than 8,600 residents live in
an Erickson community.
"This is a historic day for
retirees in Michigan," says
Carolyn Ives, Fox Run Village
retirement counselor. "Fox Run
Village has everything they're
looking for — a worry-free retire-
ment, superior amenities and serv-
ices for an active, healthy
lifestyle, and the kind of afford-
able investment that protects their
hard-earned nest egg."
While the first residence
building, Meadowbrook Square, is
nearly sold out due to the over-

whelming response, Carolyn urges
people to call the Welcome Center
to find out how they too can
secure their place in line to move
to this remarkable community.
