HERBERT I. LENTER, 85, of
Walled Lake, died May 2. He was the
vice president of Domestic Linen and
was an Air Force lieutenant who flew
missions over-Japan as navigator dur-
ing World War II. He was also a past
president of Morganthau Lodge of
B'nai B'rith.
Mr. Lenter is survived by his wife,
Virginia Lenter; daughter, Janet Lenter
of New York; sons and daughter-in-
law, Sheldon Lenter of California,
Fred and Susan Lenter of West
Bloomfield, William and Joyce Broyles
of Commerce, Robert and Maryann
Broyles of Clinton Township; grand-
children, Nicole, Ryan and Daniel
Lenter, Lauren and Scott Lenter,
Robert and Mary Broyles, Katherine
and David Kasbohm, Lenn Kelly and
Michael Clavert, Steven and Nicole
Broyles, Robert and Dawn Broyles;
great-grandchildren, Jason Luckadu,
Joshua and Kelly Kasbohm, Morgan
and Trevor Broyles; brother, Emanuel
Lenter. He was the beloved husband of
the late Rita Lenter; dear brother of
the late Louis Lenter.

ALVIN YALE PAUL, 78, of Oak Park,
died May 4.
He is survived by his mother, Florence
Paul; son, Scott Edward Paul of Oak Park;
sisters, Jackie McNamee of West Hills,
Calif., Lois Zahler of West Bloomfield. Mr.
Paul was the beloved husband of the late
Delores Paul; loving brother of the late
Howard Paul.

STUART REICHSTEIN, 85, of
Gaithersburg, Md., died May 1. He was an
insurance salesman.
He is survived by his wife, Ursula
Reichstein; son and daughter-in-law,
Alexander and Kimberley Reichstein;
daughters and sons-in-law, Celia and John
Bavis, Blossom and John Wiedmeier;
grandchildren, Tyler, Nicole and Rachael
Bavis and Adin Reichstein. Mr. Reichstein
was the dear brother of the late Miriam
Reichstein and the late Buhl Reichstein.
Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.

MARTIN RICE, 83, of Del Ray Beach,
Fla., died May 1. He was the owner of the
Jukebox Rice Music Company. He was
also a Shriner, loved to fish and an avid
card player. He volunteered to drive seniors
to doctor appointments and was proud to
be a blood donor.
Mr. Rice is survived by his son and
daughter-in-law, David and Susan Rice of
Clarkston; daughters, Reisa and Michael
Corbin of Huntington Woods, Debbie and
Tim Richnak of Rochester Hills, Donnie
and Jim Scott of Missouri, Laurna and
Butch Hartzog of Birmingham; 19 grand-
children; 16 great-grandchildren; sister,
Babe Bernstein. He was the beloved hus-
band of the late Bertrice Rice.
Interment at Beth El Memorial Park.
Contributions may be made to the
Shriner's Hospital for Children or
American Diabetes Foundation.

ALEXANDER RINGER, 81, of
Champaign, Ill., died May 3. He was a
professor in musicology.
He is survived by his wife, Claude
Ringer; daughters, Miriam Adam of
Haslett, Deborah Elissabeth of Israel; three
grandchildren; a sister in Israel.
