ESTHER WEINER KORELITZ, 84,
died March 22.
Mrs. Korelitz and her late husband
Harry founded Harry's Garden Center
in Warren in 1951. It is still in the same
location and is being operated by her
children. Mrs. Korelitz was an active
volunteer for Jewish
Family Services,
Providence Hospital
and the American Red
Cross. She was proud
of the fact that she was
an all-state hurdler on
the Central High
School team of 1935.
She is survived by
Esther Korelitz
her son and daughter-
in-law, Jay and Paula Korelitz of
Farmington Hills; daughters, Ronnie
Korelitz of Southfield, Debrah Joseff of
Royal Oak; grandchildren, Seth (Sheryl)
Korelitz, Mara (Alan) Rosenthal, Justin
(Katy) Joseff, Nicole Joseff; great-grand-
children, Hannah and Zoe Korelitz,
Lucie and Eddie Rosenthal, Benjamin
Joseff; sister-in-law, Jeanie Weiner of
Calif. Mrs. Korelitz was the beloved
wife of the late Harry Korelitz and sister
of the late Al Weiner, Edward Weiner
and Milton Weiner.
Interment was held at Machpelah
Cemetery. Contributions can be made

MYRON "MIKE" LEVEN, 75, of
West Bloomfield, died March 20. He
was a worker's compensation attorney
who received his undergraduate degree
from Wayne State University and his
law degree from the WSU Law School
and was a major contributor to the
school.
Mr. Leven was a member of the
Anthony Wayne Society, Michigan Trial
Lawyers Association, Detroit Institute of
Arts and the Detroit Symphony
Orchestra.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Sue
Shagena; son, Scott Shagena of
Ferndale; daughter, Wendi Shagena of
California; cousins, Milton and Sylvia
Madgy, Janet and Milton Elford and
Marlena and Max Krenin.
Interment at Clover Hill Park
