Bryan Jonathan Skulsky, son of Carol
and Craig Skulsky, will be called to
the Torah on Friday, March 15, at
Temple Israel. Sharing in the simchah
will be his brothers Eric and Jason
and sisters Jessica
• and Stefanie. He is
the grandchild of
Marilynn and
Edward Sklusky
and Edith
Fridenberg. He is
also the grandchild
of the late Eben
Friedenberg.
An honor stu-
dent at Abbott Middle School in West
Bloomfield, Bryan is interested in
drawing, basketball, computer games
and attending sporting events. In
memory of his grandfather and as part
of his mitzvah projects, Bryan volun-
teered at and donated to the
American Cancer Society.

Nathan Robinson Swartz will become
a bar mitzvah on Saturday, March 16,
at Temple Kol Ami. He is the son of
Stephen and Beth Robinson Swartz
and brother of Molly. Proud grand-
P arents are Ethel
and John Mandel
and Aviva and Jack
Robinson.
Nathan attends
West Hills Middle
School in
Bloomfield Hills.
In addition to
being an honor
student there and a
member of the jazz band, Nathan
works as a soccer referee. He enjoys
skiing, computers, playing piano and
saxophone and attending Tamarack
Camps. He has volunteered at Huck
Finn summer camp with Bloomfield
Hills Parks and Recreation and is a
madrich (teacher's assistant) at Temple
Kol Ami. As part of his bar mitzvah
celebration, Nathan will collect food
for the Oakland County Food bank.
