Hospice hosts its annual Crystal Rose Ball.

This year's Crystal Rose Ball will
honor Arthur Horwitz of Jewish
Renaissance Media and publisher of the
Detroit Jewish News. Also being honored
are Charity Motors, Ford Motor

and Nancy and Harold Varner.

its 17th annual "Crystal
Rose Ball" 7 p.m. Saturday,
April 13, at the Detroit
Science Center. The black-tie gala event
features astronaut Dr. James P. Bagian
and master of ceremonies Paul W.
Smith. Visitors will be able to visit the
IMAX Dome Theatre, the Digital
Dome Planetarium and Ford Learning
Resource Center.
Volunteers recently gathered at the
home of Nancy and Dennis
Gershenson- in Franklin to address invi-
tations for the upcoming event. "Dennis
and I have been involved for several
years," said Nancy. "When you use
Hospice, you really benefit from it.
They are compassionate and have
answers to console children as well."
