It has been a tough, hard road but like
always you have been there for me.

Lenore and Eddie Mitteldorf, Virginia
Kraft and Walter Kraft.
Basketball, skiing, baseball, tennis
and attending Camp Walden in
Cheboygan are some of his favorite
activities. Ryan is an honor student at
Warner Middle School in Farmington
Hills, who especially enjoyed volunteer-
ing at Temple Israel's Labor Day picnic
as part of his mitzvah projects.

Alex Leve, son of Stuart and Lisa Leve
of Commerce Township, became a bar
mitzvah on Feb. 17,
at Congregation
B'nai Moshe. Alex
was joined by his
great-grandmother
Evelyn Robbins,
grandparents Louis
and Francine
Rosberg of
Commerce
Township and his
grandmother Marion Lloyd of Tucson,
Ariz.
Alex is a seventh-grader at Oak
Valley Middle School in Commerce.
He enjoys playing Lacrosse for the
Huron Valley team. He was joined by
many friends and family for his cele-
bration.

Michael Brandon Lewis will be called
to the Torah as a bar mitzvah on
Saturday, Feb. 23, at Adat Shalom
Synagogue. He is
the son of Karen
and Scott Lewis
and brother of
Erica. Sharing in
the simchah are
proud grandparents
Ted and Elaine
Frazis and Marcia
and Charles Lewis.
Excited great-grand-
mother is Gertrude Gilbert.
Michael is a student at Orchard Lake
Middle School in West Bloomfield. He
enjoys playing golf, tennis and baseball.
Mike enjoys spending his summers at
Camp Walden in Cheboygan. He has
participated in many mitzvah projects;
the most meaningful were participating
in Federation's Itza Mitzvah and build-
ing a sukkah at a JARC home.

Adam Jon Lieberman will celebrate
his bar mitzvah at Temple Israel on
Saturday, Feb. 23, during Havdalah
services. He is the son of Susan and
Gary Lieberman and the brother of
Andrew. His grandparents are Fran and
Bill Hamburger and the late Ann and
Sidney Lieberman.
An honor student at Walled Lake

Middle School,
where he is a stu-
dent council repre-
sentative, Adam is
interested in swim-
ming, playing video
games, working the
computer and bik-
ing. His most mean-
ingful mitzvah proj-
ect was volunteering at Yad Ezra in
Berkley.

Jeramy Peters will be called to the
Torah as a bar mitzvah on Saturday,
March 23, at Temple Kol Ami. He will
share this simchah with his parents,
Elayne and Michael Peters, sister
JamieRose, brother Stephen, grandpar-
ents Phyllis and Jack Kramer, Eugene
and Grace Peters
and great-grand-
mothers Jenny
DiBenedetto, Berty
Garland and Freyda
Kramer.
Jeramy is an
honor student at
Muir Middle school
in Milford. In his
free time, he enjoys
photography, reading, skate boarding
and snow boarding. Currently, he serves
as historian and assistant chaplain of his
Boy Scout troop. Throughout the past
year, Jeramy has volunteered for the
Boy Scouts of America. He participated
in the temple's mitzvah day as well as
the one for the Jewish Federation of
Metropolitan Detroit. His most enjoy-
able project has been as a madrich
(leader) at the temple's Sunday school.

Aliza Shayna Storchan will celebrate
becoming a bat mitzvah on Saturday,
Feb. 23, at Ohel Moed Shomrey
Emunah. She is the daughter of
Lorraine and Howard Storchan and sis-
ter of Geoffrey and
Daniel. Proud
grandmother is Bell
Storchan of West
Bloomfield. Aliza is
also the grand-
daughter of the late
Sam Storchan and
the late Alice and
Sam Cohen.
Aliza attends
Hillel Day School of Metropolitan
Detroit in Farmington Hills. Her inter-
ests are music, dancing, Camp Ramah
in Canada and working with children.
She is an active member of the bat
mitzvah club at the Shul-Chabad
Lubavitch and is participating in the
Dor I2Dor program at school.
