MAX FACKTOR, 88, of Kennewick,
Wash., died Feb. 12. Born in Poland,
Mr. Facktor arrived in the United States
in 1921 on the ship Lapland. He was
raised in Chicago and later moved to
Three Rivers, Mich., to open a retail
store in 1945, which he owned and
operated for 35 years. He then became a
resident of Kalamzoo.
Mr. Facktor was a sports enthusiast
and won many championships in golf
and bowling. He was a longtime mem-
ber of the Congregation of Moses and
of the Elks.
Mr. Facktor is survived by his loving
wife of 64 years, Margaret; children, Dr.
Michael (Carolyn) Facktor of Orchard
Lake, Ronald (Patricia) Facktor of
Louisville, Ky., Susan (Dr. Robert)
Margulies of Kennewick; grandchildren,
Debra (Dominic) Lepore, Dr. Matthew
(Lori) Facktor, Bryce Facktor, David
(Sherri) Facktor, Darcie (James) Jarman,
Meredith Weingarden; seven great-
grandchildren; two sisters-in-law.

Ever-Rest Memorial Park in Kalamazoo.

REKA ROGERS GOLDSTEIN, 92, of
Southfield, died Feb. 14. She was a
medical secretary, a charter member of
Temple Israel, a past president of a B'nai
B'rith chapter, member of the Sinai
Guild, a volunteer
with Service With
Love and Meals on
Wheels and she
worked on many
Temple Israel com-
mittees, including
assisting with the
creation of Temple
Treasures.

Loren and Danielle Gluckman, Jared
and Kara Unatin; brother, Henry
Cranston of Toronto; sister, Evelyn
Arnold of England. She was the beloved
wife of the late Milton Rogers, the late
Ben Bornstein, the late Philip Goldstein;
the loving grandmother of the late Ryan
Unatin; dear sister of the late Ike
Kravitz, the late Faye Fagil and the late
Bertha Feinstein.
Interment at Beth El Memorial Park.

GEORGE JOSEPH GOULD, 82, of
West Bloomfield, died Feb. 15.
