active in the Democratic Party and
was a longtime member of Temple
Israel.
Mrs. Stone is survived by her

Dr. Herbert Brode of Huntington
Woods; grandchildren, Jon and
Robert Brode; sister-in-law,
Martha Katz. She was the beloved
wife of the late Judge John H.
Schneider and the late M. Howard
Stone; devoted mother of the late
Robert Schneider; loving sister of
the late David Katz and the late
Samuel Katz; dear sister-in-law of
the late Adeline Katz. Interment
at Beth El Memorial Park.

ALICE WASSERMAN, 98, for-
mer Detroiter of Florida.
She is survived by her daughters-
in-law, Ruth Wasserman Eisler and
Sharone Wasserman; grandchil-
dren; great-grandchildren. _She was
the beloved wife of the late Jack
Wasserman; loving mother of the
late Melvin Wasserman and the
late Donald Wasserman.
Interment in Florida.
