Jessica Robin Csanky of Salt Lake
City, Utah, was called to the Torah as
a bat mitzvah on Saturday, Oct. 13, at
Congregation Kol Ami in Salt Lake
City. She is the daughter of former
Detroiter Amy Dishell. Proud grand-
parents are Donald and Elissa Dishell;
great-grandmother is Toby Dishell.

in January in Ft. Lauderdale,
Fla.
Dishell. Jessica is
also the great-grand-
daughter of the late
Molly Ruby.
Jessica is a student
at Rowland Hall
School and a gradu-
ate of the McGillis
JCC School in Salt
Lake City. She has many interests
including dancing, art, music, skiing,
rock climbing, windsurfing and
attending Camp Arowhon in
Algonquin Park, Ontario.
As a mitzvah project, Jessica pro-
cured some 200 cans of food, which
she transformed into beautiful center-
pieces for her bat mitzvah celebration.
She then donated them to the Utah
Food Bank, which provides food to
needy families.
