Joshua Rosenberg, son of Richard and
Pat Rosenberg of West Bloomfield, will
be called to the Torah
as a bar mitzvah
Saturday, Oct. 27, at
Congregation Shan rey
Zedek B'nai Israel.
Josh is also the older
brother of Daniel
Rosenberg and the
grandson of the late
Max and Yetta
Rosenberg.
Josh is a seventh-grade honor student
at Hillel Day School of Metropolitan
Detroit in Farmington Hills and enjoys
computers, reading, in-line skating and
skateboarding. His various mitzvah proj-
ects included volunteering at Yad Ezra in
Oak Park.

Emily Diane Schneider will celebrate
her bat mitzvah at Temple Israel on
Friday, Oct. 26. She is
the daughter of Edie
and Jim Schneider
and sister of Andrea
and Julie. Proud
grandmothers are Rita
Fishman and Mili
Schneider. She is also
the granddaughter of
the late Milton
Fishman and the late Bernard Schneider.
A student at Orchard Lake Middle
School in West Bloomfield, where she
plays clarinet in the symphony band,
Emily likes computers, art, piano, skiing
and reading. Her most significant mitz-
vah project involved volunteering at
Hadassah in West Bloomfield, making
dolls for hospitalized children.

Jaclyn Aviva Schwartz will be called to
the Torah as a bat mitzvah at
Congregation B'nai Moshe on Saturday,
Oct. 27. She is the
daughter of Steven
and Cindy Schwartz
and sister of Melissa.
Excited grandparents
are Raymond and
Karen Feldman. She
is also the grand-
daughter of the late
Melvina Feldman and
the late Henry and Emily Schwartz.
Jaclyn is an honor student at Wainer
Middle School in Farmington Hills. Her
interests include dance, computers,
music, skiing, being with friends and
spending summers at Tamarack Camps.
Her mitzvah projects included volun-
teering at Detroit's Gleaners Food Bank,
Yad Ezra in Oak Park, Forest
Elementary School in Farmington Hills
and Congregation B'nai Moshe.
