Mason, worked for the U. S. govern-
ment broadcasting agency (Voice of
America) and was an active member
of the Jewish War Veterans and B'nai
B'rith.
He is survived by his wife, Augusta,
of Silver Spring; daughter and son-in-
law, Leslie and Jerry Solomon of
Rockville, Md.; sister and brother-in-
law, Johanna and Jack Wayne of West
Bloomfield; brother and sister-in-law,
Darrel and Patti Mandelstamm of
Greensboro, N.C.; granddaughters,
Ellen and Denise Solomon of
Rockville.
Interment in Maryland.

School and was in charge of Oneg
Shabbat activities. She was a lifetime
member of Hadassah and after moving
to Michigan in 1986 was social secre-
tary of the Masada chapter for many
years.
She is survived by her loving daugh-
ter and son-in-law, Jessica and Stanton
Walker of Southfield; son, Irving
Theodore Patt of Chicago; grandchil-
dren, Jenny R. (Eric) Michaels, Joshua
R. Walker, Jeremy R. Walker. She was
the beloved wife of the late Max Patt;
sister of the late Harold Perlmutter
and Bernard Perlmutter.
Interment in Chicago.

MIKE MARSHAK, 72, of West
BELLE PLATT, 88, of Southfield,
Bloomfield, died Oct. 17. He was a
health and beauty manufacturer's rep-
resentative, a Jewish War Veteran and
a member of Perfection Lodge of the
Masons.
Mr. Marshak is survived by his wife,
Shirley Marshak; daughters and son-
in-law, Susan Marshak-Kroeger and
Timothy Kroeger of West Bloomfield,
Linda Marshak of Wixom; son and
daughter-in-law, Bob Marshak and
Judy Kelly of California; grandchil-
dren, Brandon and Matthew Kroeger,
Jordan and Gabriel Marshak; brothers-
in-law, Sheldon Pringle, Harvey
Pringle.

FLORENCE PERLMUTTER PATT,
91, formerly of Chicago of Southfield,
died Oct. 18. She earned a bachelor's
degree from the
University of
Chicago and a mas-
ter's degree in educa-
tion from the
University of
Wisconsin; she
retired after teaching
in the Chicago pub-
lic school system for
Florence Patt
35 years.
A trained classical
pianist, Mrs. Patt
enjoyed singing and
entertaining family and friends. She
was active in both South Shore Temple
and Congregation Kol Ami in
PEGGY C. ROSS, 91, of Ann Arbor,
died Oct. 18.
She is survived by her sons and
daughters-in-law, Thomas M. and
Dinah Ross of Ann Arbor, Elliott and
Catherine Ross of Berkley; daughters,
Elizabeth Nichols of Evanston, Ill.;
grandchildren, Jeremy Ross, Emily
and Tom Savino, Eric Ross, Jennifer
Ross, Daniel Nichols, Adam and
Jackie Nichols. She was the beloved
wife of the late Harry T. Ross.
