The purchase of the new
home, which houses six men,
was made possible by a previous
gift to JARC from Nathan
Greenberg, A.S. Green, Dr.
Milton Shiffman, Dr. Ben
Stein, Esther Stein, William
Valensky and the estate of Louis
Greenberg
The original Greenbera-
Shiffman-Stein Home opened
in the 1980s, but the location
was moved because of a fire.
Proceeds from the
sale of that home
were used to build
the new one.
In attendance at

tion was Lois
Shiffman, wife of the
late Milton
Shiffman, and her
children and grand-
children, along with
Dr. Ben Stein and
his three grandchil-
dren. They and the
other guests had the
opportunity to tour
the house and meet
the residents and the
staff

gratifying for us to be able to pro-

staff for the men and women that
\ye serve," says Rena Friedberg,
JARC development director.

started doing the hora (an Israeli folk
dance) in the back yard and everybody
started to join in. It was a wonderful
