LESTER DAVIDOW of Pittsburgh
died Aug. 21. He was an honorably
discharged veteran of the Navy in
World War II. In Pittsburgh, he was
the former owner of Lester's Deli and
a member of the Mystic Shrine.
Mr. Davidow is survived by his
beloved wife, Zella B. Davidow;
daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and
David Burger of Pittsburgh, Retta and
Mark London of Michigan; son and
daughter-in-law, Marc and Debbie
Davidow of Pittsburgh; brother and
sister-in-law, Barry and Brenda Werber
of Pittsburgh; grandchildren, Katie
Marcus, Erika London, Michael
Burger, Kara Burger, Samuel Davidow,
Jesse Davidow. He was the beloved
son of the late Sylvia Werber and
Samuel Davidow; stepson of the late
Isadow Werber.
Services were held at Ralph Schugar
Chapel Inc. in Pittsburgh. Interment
at Kether Torah Cemetery, Pittsburgh.

Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15219.

BERTHA FEINSTEIN, 90, of
Southfield, died Aug. 25. She was a
beautician who worked until age 89
with clients including the Duchess of
Wales, opera stars and Mark Twain's
daughter. She was
also active with the
Children's
Asthmatic Research
Association, was a
volunteer beautician
for the Jewish
Home for Aged and
was a charter mem-
ber of Temple
Bertha Feinstein
Israel.
Mrs. Feinstein is
survived by her daughters and sons-in-
law, Sylvia and Earl Elkowitz of West
Bloomfield, Paulette and Stan Kent of
Farmington Hills; grandchildren,
Brian Lazarus and Nancy Bernard,
Ann and Patrick Robinson, Nancy and
Randy Legault, Matthew. Jessie and
Mandy Kent, Peter Elkowitz, Karen
and Robert Reetz; great-grandchildren,
Elizabeth and Sarah Robinson, Rainy
and Drew Legault, Robert and Alexis
Reetz; brother, Henry Cranston of
Toronto; sisters and brother-in-law,
Evelyn and Arthur Arnold of England
and Reka Goldstein of Southfield. She
was the beloved wife of the late Jack
Feinstein; loving mother of the late
Hannah Lazarus, the late Marvin
Feinstein; dear sister of the late Fay
Fagil and the late Isaac "Ike" Kravitz.
Interment at Beth El Memorial
Park. Contributions may be made to a

charity of one's choice. Arrangements
by Ira Kaufman Chapel.

ESTHER FOGEL, 81, of West
Bloomfield, died Aug. 21.
She is survived by her son and
daughter-in-law, Barry and Sally Foge
grandchildren, Ronald and Randy
Fogel, Terri Fogel, Jodi Fogel; sister,
Sara Shaben of Farmington Hills. Mr
Fogel was the beloved wife of the late
Theodore Fogel.

the Alzheimer's Association.
