HILDA TENNENHOUSE, 92, of
West Bloomfield, died June 24.
She is survived by her son,
_Leonard Tennenhouse; grandchil-
dren, Karen and Jeff Duncan, Laura
Tennenhouse, Mark Tennenhouse;
great-granddaughter, Emma
Duncan. Mrs. Tennenhouse was the
beloved wife of the late Isaac
Tennenhouse; loving mother of the
late Gerald Tennenhouse, the late
Norma Gerson.
Contributions may be made to
Congregation Beth Ahm, 5075 West
Maple Road, West Bloomfield, Ml
48322. Interment at Beth Abraham
Cemetery, Arrangements by Hebrew
Memorial Chapel.

DR. FLOYD S. TUKEL, 66, of
Bloomfield Hills, died June 25. He
attended Wayne State University,
where he earned a bachelor of sci-
ence degree and was a member of Psi
Chi Psychology Honor Society. He
then attended the
University of
Michigan
Medical School,
where, in his jun-
ior year, he was
awarded the
Sternberg Award
in Public Health.
After an intern-
ship at Sinai
Hospital in
Dr. Floyd Tukel
Detroit, he pur-
sued a residency
in ophthalmology at the Kresge Eye
Institute and practiced for many
years in Dearborn.
In addition
- - to his active medical
practice, D
r. Tukel was an associate
professor of ophthalmology at
Wayne State University and section
chief of the department of ophthal-
mology at the United States
Veteran's Administration hospital.
Dr. Tukel was chairman of the
National Eye Care Project pilot pro-
gram and later regional chairman as
_well, coordinating the project's
activities in three states. The pro-
gram helped the elderly and indigent
to receive care for glaucoma and
cataract conditions at no cost to the
patient.
He held appointments at
Oakwood Hospital, Children's
Hospital, Sinai Hospital and Henry
Ford Hospital. A member of the
