ROSLYN LEAH SONNENSTRAHL,
61, of Farmington Hills, died June 16.
She was a waitress at Stage Deli.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa
Sonnenstrahl; brother and sister-in-law,
Hershel and Gail Epstein of Orchard
Lake. Mrs. Sonnenstrahl was the beloved
-wife of the late Sam Sonnenstrahl; loving
mother of the late Debbie Sonnenstrahl
and the late Steven Sonnenstrahl.

GIORGIO SONNINO, 85, of West
Bloomfield, died June 16. He was a
naval architect and marine engineer with
a doctorate in naval architecture. Mr.
Sonnino attended the University of

Genoa and the University of Michigan.
He was a founding member of Temple
Shir Shalom, member of the Order of
Sons of Italy, Italian Study Group of
Troy and the Troy Community Chorus.
He is survived by his son and daugh-
ter-in-law, Dr. Victor and Laura
Sonnino; daughters, Dr. Roberta
Sonnino of Kansas, Merryl Schwartz;
grandchildren, Elana and Max Sonnino;
brother and sister-in-law, Mario and
Sylvana Sonnino of Connecticut. Mr.
Sonnino was the beloved husband of the
late Sandra Sonnino.
Interment at Beth El Memorial Park.

JOSEPH SPITZER, 82, of Monsey,
N.Y., formerly of Oak Park, died June
11. Mr. Spitzer was the former owner of
Spitzer's Hebrew Book Store.
He is survived by his wife, Helena;
son and daughter-in-law, Yecheskel and
Rochel Spitzer of Monsey; daughters and
sons-in-law, Yenti and Rabbi Yidel Blier
of London, England, Suri and Rabbi
Shiya Wurzberger of Jerusalem, Israel,
Miriam and Rabbi Dovid Yehudah
Hirshfeld of Monsey, Shaindy and Rabbi
Naftaly Hertzka Friedman of Monsey,
Itta and Rabbi Eliezer Kerpel of
Brooklyn, N.Y.; sister-in-law and broth-
er-in-law, Ethel and Hillel Abrams of
Oak Park; many grandchildren and
great-grandchildren.
Services and interment were held in
Monsey. This announcement was placed
at the request of the family by the
Hebrew Memorial Chapel.
GERALD M. ZEIDMAN, 70, of
Boynton Beach, Fla., died June 11. He
was owner of Jiffy Sign Inc., a member
of Binai nith Centennial Lodge and a
member of Tau Delta Phi Fraternity at
the University of Michigan.
Mr. Zeidman is survived by his wife,
Helen Zeidman; sons and daughters-in-
law, Eric and Lori Zeidman of Phoenix,
Ariz., Harold and Diane Zeidman of
Blacklick, Ohio, Sam and Laurie
Zeidman of Farmington Hills; daughter
and son-in-law, Pamela and Glen Lilley
of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; grandchildren,
Elena, Benjamin, Joshua, Jeffrey, Jacob
and Madison Zeidman, Jason and
Ashleigh Zeman and Scott and
Charlotte Zeidman.
Interment at Clover Hill Park
