Bar/Bat Mitzvah

Jared Michael Adler of Novi will
become a bar mitzvah 10 a.m.
Saturday, May 19,
in Handleman Hall
at the Jewish
Community Center
in West Bloomfield.
He is the son of
Mark and Carol
Adler and the great-
great-grandson of
(Grammi) Sharon
Wise of Southfield.
A student at Novi Middle School,
Jared plays on the lacrosse team,
enjoys skateboarding, the trampo-
line, video games and plays several
musical instruments.
As part of his mitzvah projects,
Jared completed 32 hours of com-
munity service, including assisting
younger children at the Novi
library, working at several food dis-
tribution projects, including one at
the Ronald McDonald House, and
helping at the Great Purim Parcel
project.
