Jonathan L. Golob of Bloomfield Hills
has been admitted to the medical sci-
ence training program at the University
of Washington Medical School. Golob
will graduate in May from Johns
Hopkins University in Baltimore with a
degree in biomedical engineering. He is
the son of Carol and Michael Golob.
Dr. Daniel Hoard of Bloomfield Hills
has joined the surgical staff of Sinai-
Grace Hospital in Detroit. He is
board-eligible in orthopedic surgery
with a clinical interest in general
orthopedic surgery. He treats patients
in Detroit at the Sinai-Grace Hospital
orthopedic department and in
Farmington Hills.

Dr. Gabriel Sosne of Oak Park was
awarded a five-year Physician Scientist
Award by the National Eye Institute of
the National Institute of Health. He is
a clinical ophthalmologist at Henry
Ford Hospital in Detroit and associate
professor at Wayne State University.
He is conducting research on a new
healing agent for eye injuries.
Dr. Kenneth Ginsburg
of Orchard Lake has
been appointed assis-
tant dean for clinical
science at the Wayne
State University School
of Medicine. He is

Dr. David Alan Schwartz of
Birmingham is the recipient of the

(Osteopathic) in Warren. The award is
given to a physician who exhibits care,
