Adam is on the
dean's list at
Cranbrook
Kingswood Middle
School in Bloomfield
Hills, where he plays
the tenor saxophone in the advanced
band. He also played football and bas-
ketball for Cranbrook this year. Adam
enjoys his summers by hiking, canoe-
ing and camping at Camp
Nebagamon in Wisconsin. He also
loves golf and tennis and is a great fan
of the Detroit Lions and Detroit Red
Wings.
As a mitzvah project, Adam partici-
pated in the fall clean-up and land-
scaping of a Kadima home. Also,
throughout the year, he packed and
delivered food to those in need
through Yad Ezra.

Zachary Gordon DeVore will be
called to the Torah as a bar mitzvah
on Saturday, April
28, at Temple Kol
Arni. He is the son
of Mark and Carol
DeVore and the
grandson of
Seymour and
Marilyn Gordon of
Franklin and Robert
and Mary DeVore of
Carson City, Nev. Brothers David and
Matthew will participate in the ser-
vice.
Zachary attends Hillel Day School
of Metropolitan Detroit in
Farmington Hills, where he is an
honor student. He represents
Birmingham Bloomfield Atlantis
Swim Club, competing at the state
level. He volunteers for the Friendship
Circle and enjoys visiting the Laker
Jewish Association for Residential
Care home.
