Space Offers
Support Groups

Beginning Monday, May 7, Space for
Changing Families will offer Moving
On, a six-week support group that helps
men and women who are ready to put
their divorce behind them and take steps
toward a new life.
The group meets May 7 through
June 25 (no meetings May 21, 28) at
the Space office, Homestead USA
Building, 26400 Lahser Road, Suite
100, Southfield, from 7:30-9:30 p.m.
and is lead by a trained facilitator.
There is a suggested donation of $30
for all six sessions. Pre-registration is
required by May 4.
Space will offer a six-week divorce
support group for men and women.The
group meets May 7-June 18 (no meeting
May 29), at the Space office and is lead
by a trained facilitator. There is a suggest-
ed donation of $30 for a six sessions.
Pre-registration is required by May 4.
A five-session Survivors of Suicide
support group will be May 8-June 12
(no meeting May 29) from 6:30-8:30
p.m. at Space. It is free of charge, made
possible by a grant from the DeRoy
Testementary Fund. Pre-registration is
required my May 4. This is not a drop-
in group.
A six-week bereavement support
group for children ages 5-16 will begin
Monday, April 30, and continue through
June 11 (no meeting May 28). The pro-
grams meets 5:30-7 p.m. at the Space
office. Pre-registration is required by
April 27.

Study Begins
On Theology

Eilu v'Eilu, the adult Jewish learning
project of the Michigan Conservative
movement, will offer a five-week, 10-
hour study unit with Rabbi Aaron
Bergman, director of Jewish Studies at
the Jewish Academy of Metropolitan
Detroit, on "Exploring Jewish Theology"'
starting May 2.
The class meets Wednesday nights
from 7-9 p.m. at the Max M. Fisher
Building, 6735 Telegraph Road,
Bloomfield Township.
Advance registration is required.
Session dates are May 2, 9, 16, 23, 30.
Tuition is $70 plus a $20 fee for the
required text. For students age 30 and
under, tuition is $40 plus the book fee.
