bers and others ‘vho remembered the
tall, easygoing baseball hero.
The two ESPN producers said that
their finished prodUct will be different
from the Kempner film, which they
have seen several times. In addition,
they spoke to Greenberg's family
members and to Kempner herself.
Ausiello said the day that Greenberg
skipped a game to attend High
Holiday services has taken on the
aspect of a legend.
"If he was a regular player, it wouldn't
been an issue for anyone, whether he
played or didn't play," Ausiello said.
