He is survived by his wife of 48 years,

Maribeth Sherman of Maryland, Mike
Sherman of California; grandchildren,
Elyse, Ryan, Sara, Rachel and Jason.

Paso, Texas, formerly of Detroit, died
March 15. He was a public accountant
and active member of B'nai Zion
Synagogue. Mr. Yaker was a member of
the Masonic Lodge, Shrine Temple and
B'nai B'rith.
He is survived by his wife, Sophie
Yaker; son, Marshall T. Yaker; daughter
and son-in-law, Lynda Yaker, Francine
and Richard Hansen, Dr. Manya and
Dr. Jacob Pomerantz; sister, Martha
Bigman; sisters-in-law, Adelle Yaker,
Lillian Moscow; four grandchildren;
nine great-grandchildren. Mr. Yaker was
the loving brother of the late David
Yaker, the late William Yaker.
Graveside services were held at B'nai
Zion Cemetery in El Paso. This
