died March 24.
She is survived by her son and
daughter-in-law, Vladimir and Esfir
Nozhnik of Oak Park; sister, Ida
Beylinson of Oak Park; grandchildren,
Boriscav Nozhnik, Sofiya Nozhnik, Ilya
Nozhnik; great-grandson, David
Nozhnik. Mrs. Nozhnik was the
beloved wife of the late Shmera; loving
mother of the late Rafael Nozhnik, the
late Lesa Nozhnik.

charity of one's choice. Interment at
Hebrew Memorial Park. Arrangements

PERRY PLEASANT, 53, of

Farmington Hills, died March 25.
He is survived by his beloved wife ,
Nancy Pleasant; sons, Ian Pleasant of
Farmington Hills, Evan Pleasant of
Farmington Hills. He was the dear son
of the late Irwin and Estelle Pleasant.
Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.

SHIRLEY ANNE SHANBON, 71, of
Windsor, died March 18. She was a
member of Congregation Shaar
Hashomayim, a founding member of
Temple Bethel and past president of its
sisterhood. She was involved in many
fund-raising activities in the communi-
ty. Along with her husband, Mrs.
Shanbon was a fonder of Hi Neighbor
Floor Covering.
She is survived by her children,
Shelley Alexander of California, Steven
(April) and Abbey; sister, Geraldine
(Duckie) Margolis of West Bloomfield;
brother, Arnold Goldman (Dr. Sharon
Worlick); grandchildren, Mara
Alexander and Danielle Maveal. She
was the loving wife of the late Louis
Shanbon; mother of the late Mark.
Services were held at Janisse
Brothers Funeral Home; interment at
Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to the
Canadian Cancer Society.
