Sterling Heights, died March 7. He was
a car salesman.
He is survived by his nieces and
nephews, Karen Chapin, Bernard
Chapin and Esther Chapin. Mr. Preston
was the loving uncle of the late Francis
"Bob" Chapin.
Interment at Beth El Memorial Park.
Contributions may be directed to the
Karmanos Cancer Institute.

Southfield, died March 10. She was a
nurse and a volunteer at the Jewish
Family Service.
She is survived by her sons and
daughters-in-law, Michael and Odette
Schkloven of Long Beach, Calif, Joel
Schkloven and Andrea Sharkey of
Huntington Woods; grandchildren,
Nicole, Nina, Emmett and Abby; sister,
Louise Hecht of Florida. Mrs.
Schkloven was the beloved wife of the
late Norman Schkloven.
Interment at Workmen's Circle
Cemetery. Contributions may be direct-
ed to the Jewish Family Service.

EDITH SCHLESINGER, 83, of West

Bloomfield, died March 6. She was a
graduate of Northern High School, a
graduate of Wayne State University, a
nurse's aide during World War II at
Grace Hospital. Mrs. Schlesinger had
served as president, vice president and
treasurer of Maimonides Auxiliary and
she vas a member of the City of Hope
(Diamonds of the Desert).
Mrs. Schlesinger is survived by her
husband of 60 years, Dr. Henry
Schlesinger; son and daughter-in-law,
Gerald and Linda Schlesinger of West
Bloomfield; daughter and son-in-law,
Nancee and Gerald Weinstein of
Encino, Calif.; sister and brother-in-law,
Ruth and Harvey Solomon of Los
Angeles; grandchildren, David
Schlesinger, Annie Schlesinger.
Interment at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be direct-
