The Temple Israel Brotherhood will
get some tips on how to make their
seder more lively at its fried matzah
breakfast 9:30 a.m. Sunday, March 11,
at the temple.
Judge Stephen Cooper, Ira Auslander
and the temple's clergy will present ideas
and materials to take home to make the
Passover seder more fun.
Topics will include catchy songs,
discussion topics, Passover quiz ideas
and more.
There is a $15 charge for the break-
fast and program. For reservations, call

Shabbat America
Set For March 23

Congregation B'nai Moshe has planned
a special program for the fifth annual
national Shabbat Across America on
Friday, March 23.
Services at 5:45 p.m. will include stu-
dents from the LIFE program and Hillel
Day School. There will also be a
preschool program with Susan Sinai.
Dinner following services will include
Rabbi Elliot Pachter and Cantor Earl
Berris teaching Shabbat rituals, and
member Sherry Wasserman discussing
the synagogue library's new computer
system and new books.
There is a charge for dinner. For
reservations, by March 12, -all the syna-

Project Focus:
Healthy Living

The Jewish Community Center in Oak
Park will host Project Healthy Living in
cooperation with Detroit Medical
Center/Sinai Grace, United Health orga-
nization, the United Way and WXYZ
10 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday, March 28.
Available tests free of charge include:
height and weight, blood pressure,
vision screening, body fat analysis, pul-
monary function test, medication infor-
mation, nutrition counseling, glaucoma
screening, health education information
and displays, counseling and referral.
The following tests will be available
at a nominal fee: blood panel, prostate
specific antigen (PSA for men), cancer
antigen (CA 125 for women), colorectal
cancer screening kit, h. pylori blood test
(screens for ulcers/stomach ailments),
bone density test.
