Internships Set
For College Grads

A Metropolitan Detroit Education
Internship has been created for recent
or upcoming college graduates to
work in the Jewish community, in
education or non-profit organizations.
The two-year program will include
travel to Israel, studies of how to cre-
ate educational programs for all ages,
competitive salaries and health insur-
ance. The program is sponsored by
Federation's Alliance for Jewish
Education and the Agency for Jewish
Education, with funding from the
Covenant Foundation.

Monthly Israel
Trips Are Offered

Jerusalem — Livnot U'Lehibanot, a
non-profit Israel experience program
that is a provider for Birthright Israel, is
offering monthly two-week free trips to
Israel for 21-26-year-old Jews who have
never been to Israel with a peer group.
The trips include roundtrip airfare
from New York.
The organization has a "hands-on
approach to learning in an open and
questioning environment." The trips
include challenging and scenic hikes,
learning about Jewish heritage, and
community service projects.
The prograM is based at Livnot's
campuses in Jerusalem and Safed.
