Jewish Heretics from Abraham to Amichai (T15)

If there are two Jews and three opinions, but one of those Jews is a
rabbi, then the other must be a heretic. Jewish tradition celebrates
debate, but some Jews over the centuries have been condemned as
beyond the Pale, too radical for the community of their times. Some
of the most interesting Jewish writers and thinkers have been
condemned as Apikorsim (heretics). This seminar will explore who
they were and what they thought.

Birmingham Temple
