Jewish tradition celebrates debate, but some Jews over the centuries have been condemned as beyond the Pale, too radical for the community of their times. Some of the most interesting Jewish writers and thinkers have been condemned as Apikorsim (heretics). This seminar will explore who they were and what they thought.
