SYLVIA RUSS, 88, of Southfield
died Jan. 27.
She is survived by her husband,
David Russ; daughters and sons-
in-law, Charlotte and David
Fauman, Judith Russ and Steven
Leon; grandchildren, Rachel and
Naomi Fauman; son-in-law, John
Zgoralsky. She was the beloved
mother of the late Toby Zgoralsky.
Contributions may be made to
the American Heart Association,
the American Diabetes Association
or to the Arthritis Organization.
Interment at Beth El Memorial
Park. Arrangements by Hebrew
Memorial Chapel.

ELEANOR K. SMITH, 87, of
Highland Park, N.J., died Jan. 24.
She was a 1934 graduate of New
Jersey College for Women, now
Douglas College. She was involved
with many civic and charitable
organizations and was honored in
New Jersey for her commitment to
families and children.
She is survived by her daughters
and sons-in-law, Paula Silverman
Weberman and Judge Seymour
Weberman of West Bloomfield,
Corinne and Dr. Robert Glass of
Far Hills, N.J.; grandchildren, Dr.
Brett Silverman, Dr. Kirsten
Silverman, Meggin Silverman,
Elizabeth Glass Gordon, Adam

died Jan. 24. He was a computer
technician for Superior
Consulting.
He is survived by his mother,
Elizabeth Pernick of Livonia; sister
and brother-in-law, Lisa Pernick
and Bruce Israel of Sylvan Lake;
brother, Robert Pernick of Pleasant
Ridge. Mr. Pernick was the loving
son of the late Judge Joseph
Pernick.
Interment at Beth El Memorial
Park. Contributions may be direct-
ed to Botsford Hospital.
